It's National Poetry Month!

Hello everyone and happy April! I hope you all had a good March. I for one am really excited about April because it’s National Poetry Month and Camp NaNoWriMo month! There’s a lot going on!

National Poetry Month

I always love April because it’s the time poets get a chance to shine! I get introduced to new writers every year and collect more and more works to enjoy throughout the year. If you would like some new poets to try, look no further! You might just find your next favourite read right here.

Camp NaNoWriMo

For the uninitiated, Camp NaNoWriMo is a more relaxed event than its sister project, National Novel Writing Month. While the regular NaNoWriMo’s goal is to write 50,000 words in a month, Camp NaNo allows you to set your own goal.

This year, my goal is to revise my third novel a little every day. I don’t expect to finish in one month, because I’m finding the process quite slow, but I love the spirit of Camp NaNo and sharing my progress with my fellow writers. That alone motivates me so much!

If you would like to see my progress, feel free to follow me on Twitter.

Happily Ever Afters for Trans Kids

Finally, I would like to draw your attention to this ebook bundle, which will be available to purchase until April 10th! 100% of the proceeds go to the Transgender Education Network of Texas—and you get 13 spooky tales in exchange! For more information, please visit HEAs for Trans Kids’ website. Support a trans rights organization and get some great stories while you’re at it!

And that’s all from me for another month! I hope you enjoy your April, and may spring come to your neck of the woods soon!
